Woodbury police investigated a CityWalk Drive incident last weekend that looked all too familiar to officers.
Police were called at 9:41 a.m. Saturday to Bella Bridal, 10150 CityWalk Drive, for an attempted burglary report. According to a police report, officers found pry marks on a service door at the business. The attempt damaged a portion of the exterior wall.
No entry was gained, police reported, though they noted that a similar incident had occurred last November at a neighboring property.
In that incident – from Nov. 30, 2011 at CityWalk Dental – someone attempted to pry open an office door. Unable to gain access that way, the suspect broke through the exterior stucco insulation and sheetrock, allowing the burglar to gain access to the interior.
Police reported $16 was removed from a cash box inside the dental office.
No suspects were identified in either incident.
