Carmine’s to add patio this spring

A popular Italian restaurant in Woodbury may be even more popular this summer now that it’s adding a patio.

Woodbury City Council approved a patio for dining and alcohol service at Carmine’s Restaurant and now the restaurant is gearing up for the summer.

Owner Brenda Hafiz said the plan is to build a fireplace, built-in bench seating and a fence.

It’ll be an “L” shape facing Valley Creek Road and Woodbury Drive to tie in with the front and sides of the building.

“We’re hoping by Mother’s Day weekend to have it completed,” she said.
