Woodbury police: suspect possessed several ounces of pot

Drugs, cash and a digital scale were among the items found by police who executed a search warrant at a Woodbury man’s residence.

The suspect, Steven C. Heinn, 25, appeared April 11 in Washington County District Court on a felony drug charge.

Woodbury police executed a search warrant Feb. 15 at Heinn’s Summer Wind Circle residence, where they located a hidden safe, according to a criminal complaint.

The complaint states the safe contained about six ounces of marijuana, a “large amount of currency,” a box of baggies, drug paraphernalia and identification documents belonging to Heinn.

Heinn admitted to buying and possessing the pot, according to the complaint.

He will appear again in court June 28 on the fifth-degree drug possession charge.
