One of Woodbury’s K-9 dogs earned a perfect score at a recent certification event.

Police Officer Jason Posel’s dog Niko earned a score of 200 at the annual narcotics certification hosted by the United States Police Canine Association in Hudson, Wis.

The city’s other police dog, officer Jeff Gottstein’s Levi, scored 195.83 out of 200.

There were 60 K-9 teams from Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa at the event.

The certification involved unknown narcotic hides in rooms and vehicles where the dogs tried to find methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine, marijuana and crack.

Niko was the only dog to earn a perfect score, winning first place overall for the second year in a row.
