Business owners to be briefed on upcoming Valley Creek Road construction

Washington County officials will be reaching out to business owners next month as a county construction project on Valley Creek Road ramps up.

Washington County officials will be reaching out to business owners next month as a county construction project on Valley Creek Road ramps up.

There will be a public information meeting from 9-11 a.m. April 3 at Woodbury City Hall, where business owners can learn about possible impacts of a repaving project stretching from Bielenberg Drive to Interlachen Parkway. The project will be completed this summer.

The April 3 event, occurring in the Birch Conference Room at City Hall, will provide information, but won’t involve a formal presentation, according to a county news release.

County officials said there will be “significant impacts” to traffic during the project, though access to residential and business areas will be maintained. Access could be restricted at times during the project, according to a county press release.

That will include Radio Drive traffic; the pavement there will also be replaced, according to the release.
