Hemisphere Restaurant Partners is bringing its Tavern Grill concept to a popular Woodbury location.
The move will be Hemisphere’s third Tavern restaurant, joining Tavern on France in Edina and Tavern Grill in Blaine.
The restaurant will be opening mid-summer in the former Aperitif restaurant site on Bielenberg Drive.
Aperitif , formerly owned by JLT Group in St. Paul, closed its doors in February 2011.
“It’s a beautiful space,” said Anoush Ansari, Hemisphere’s managing partner. “We like second-generation spaces that are still in good shape and don’t need a huge startup investment.”
The Tavern Grill offers dining at reasonable prices, he added.
With its build-your-own burgers, salads and pizzas, the menu features a number of combinations. The menu also includes a wide selection of appetizers, salads, pastas, sandwiches, flatbread pizzas, seafood and steaks.
In addition to the Tavern restaurants, Hemisphere owns and operates Mission American
Kitchen & Bar, Atlas Grill and Good to Go Mediterranean Deli in downtown Minneapolis and Flame Rotisserie Grill & Bar in Roseville.
