New Life Academy students brought Minnesota history alive March 8 when the school hosted its annual wax museum.
During the event, students were assigned historical figures from Minnesota to research.
Students spent several weeks putting together PowerPoint presentations, as well as speeches, before taking on the persona, complete with costumes, of their historical figure at the wax museum.
The historical figures featured in the wax museum ranged from those people involved in arts and sports to those who pioneered new ideas and those who played significant roles in Minnesota business.
