Afton interim city administrator in running for administrator job in Becker County

Afton Interim City Administrator Ron Moorse could be heading up north.
Moorse is one of three finalists for the Becker County administrator position.
Moorse, who currently lives in Burnsville, began working as Afton’s interim city administrator last month after the city ended its contract with then-administrator Sara Irvine.
However, Moorse did spend roughly a year with Afton in 2010 and 2011 as both the interim city administrator and as government affairs consultant.
He began his career in local government management by serving as assistant to the city manager in Roseville for 10 years, and has since served for 20 years as a city administrator in three cities.
The majority of this experience was with the city of Orono, Minn.
A date to interview candidates has yet to be set.
