Woodbury Athlete of the Week: Greg Norsten

With his high school swim career over, Greg Norsten can now be called the greatest male swimmer in Woodbury history.

    Woodbury senior Greg Norsten won the state championship in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 1:49.76, defending his state title in the event and breaking his own Woodbury record at the 2011-12 Class AA Boys Swimming and Diving State Meet. Norsten also finished third in the 500-yard butterfly to break his own school record.

With his high school swim career over, Greg Norsten can now be called the greatest male swimmer in Woodbury history.

Norsten, a senior, won the state championship in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 1:49.76, defending his state title in the event and breaking his own Woodbury record at the 2011-12 Class AA Boys Swimming and Diving State Meet. Norsten also finished third in the 500-yard butterfly to break his own school record.
