Woodbury police investigating ‘environmental crime’

The discovery Feb. 11 of more than 100 tires located behind a Woodbury clinic launched an investigation by Woodbury police.

An officer out on patrol spotted the tires dumped in two separate locations in the wetlands area behind 1750 Weir Drive. A St. Paul suspect has been identified. The case, which has been classified as an environmental crime, remained under investigation.
