East Ridge eighth grader Jack Midtlien, who was competing in his first state meet, finished 29th out of 88 racers in the boys competition with a time of 1:14.99.
East Ridge’s Jack Midtlien’s age didn’t stop him from performing well on the state’s highest stage.
Midtlien, an eighth grader, represented the Raptors alpine ski team at the 2012 state meet last week in Biwabik. Midtlien, who was competing in his first state meet, finished 29th out of 88 racers in the boys competition at state with a time of 1:14.99.
