Woodbury junior Kristina White eclipsed the 1,000 career point milestone on Wednesday, Feb. 16, at Woodbury High School as the Royals took down Prairie Seeds Academy 72-48. With 8:09 left in the first-half, White swished a 3-pointer, on an assist by teammate Mikaela Hunter, to push her over the 1,000-point mark. White, who is second in scoring the Suburban East Conference at 19.5 points per game, led the Royals in the win with 19 points, and became the eighth girl in school history to score over 1,000 points. White, a guard, is currently at 1,013 points. Next up, the Royals travel to Forest Lake on Friday, Feb. 17.
