Spirit week at New Life Academy in Woodbury culminated with a performance by grades 9-12 titled “Decade Dances.” Students put on a dazzling show for parents, friends, teachers and elementary students Friday, Feb. 10.
Each grade took on a decade starting with the freshmen who danced to music from the 1940s, followed by the sophomores and juniors who embraced the 60s and 70s and finishing with the seniors who brought on “something weird from the future.”
Students donned vintage outfits, danced to hits like “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” “Candyman” and a futuristic take on Adele’s 2011 hit “Someone Like You.”
