East Ridge High School Link Crew descended on the Afton Alps Ski and Recreation Area for some tubing on Feb. 9. Students who went tubing could either go down the hill solo, or speed down the slope with a partner.

East Ridge High School students hit the slopes for some snow fun last week.

East Ridge’s Link Crew took a field trip to the Afton Alps Ski and Recreation Area on Feb. 9 for a day of tubing.

For the third year in a row, East Ridge Link Crew leaders, and their freshman counterparts, decided to spend the day bonding on the slopes.

Link Crew is an organization where upperclassmen are paired with freshman students to help acquaint them with high school and get them involved.

In addition to having some fun in the snow, the students also participated in team building activities inside the chalet, as well as roasting marshmallows at a campfire.
