EAST RIDGE HIGH SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHER
East Ridge High School is a comprehensive high school that serves 1700+ students in grades 9-12. ERHS is located in Woodbury, MN, and is a member of the South Washington Country School District #833. We are inviting local photographers to respond to this Request for Proposals (RFP) to become the exclusive East Ridge High School photographer beginning July 1, 2012.
The East Ridge photographer will provide their services to students for; athletic and activity team and individual photos, prom, athletic events, student events such as awards banquets and ceremonies, and concerts as well as to photograph still or staged shots of students, faculty, and staff, or any other planned shots required for its purposes. Under this responsibility would be the need to request, collect and maintain photographic records of events deemed to be of importance, as well as to request, direct and coordinate photographs for marketing efforts.

Requirements:
•Must be able to work effectively with students, faculty, and administrators;
•Ability to complete all advertising, soliciting, and order taking.
•Ability to submit work in a timely fashion according to schedule articulated by administration
• Availability for events taking place on weekends as well as weekdays, early in the morning as well as in the evening.
•Ability to photograph ALL school groups and organizations in the high school and provide an image of each group taken at no charge for the yearbook or any other publication.
•Ability to provide 15-30 images of major school events requested by administration free of charge. These events will include, but are not limited to: homecoming coronation, pep fests, graduation, concerts, academic ceremonies, etc. Provide 10 prints, in frames, ranging from 8x10 to 16x20 in size.
•Ability to supply high-resolution digital photography.
•Photograph sports action of all varsity teams, as scheduled by the photographer with assistance from the Activities Department. Provide 15-30 images of each sport to the yearbook staff and the Activities Department. Provide 10 prints, in frames, ranging from 8x10 to 16x20 in size.
•A detailed list of any and all other value-added services that the photographer will provide which may assist East Ridge High School in successfully accomplishing its mission.
Along with addressing each of the requirements outlined above, responses to this RFP shall include at least the following information:
•Include the full name and address of your organization.
•Include a brief description of your firm, including qualifications, experience and ability to fulfill the scope of work described in this RFP.
•Include at least three References that are very familiar with your work.
•Samples of past photographic work. Samples of work relevant to our purpose such as school scenes, students/teachers interacting, and candid/planned shots at athletic events or team/individual photos.
•Pricing guide for athletics team and individual, prom, and school dance photos.
All responses, including samples to this Request for Proposals must be received no later than 3:00pm March 9, 2012. Responses may be shipped or delivered in person to:

All responses should be clearly labeled "BID RESPONSE TO ERHS PHOTOGRAPHY RFP." Selection of vendors is final, except that East Ridge High School reserves the right to cancel all bid entries and reinitiate the bidding process at its sole discretion.
Please note that the East Ridge High School logos, icons and symbols have been officially secured as Trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, making any unauthorized use of the East Ridge Trademark a violation of Federal Law. Violations of EHRS trademarks will be defended to the fullest extent of federal law.
