Woodbury sophomore goalie Kaelan stopped 39 of the 41 shots she faced in a 3-2 upset win over Park, giving the Royals their first conference win of the season, then followed up the performance by shutting out East Ridge in a 3-0 win last week.
The Woodbury girls hockey team had its most successful week of the year last week and Kaelan Geisser was a big reason why.
Geisser, a sophomore goalie, stopped 39 of the 41 shots she faced in a 3-2 upset win over Park last week, giving the Royals their first conference win of the season, then followed up the performance by shutting out East Ridge in a 3-0 win last week.
On the year, Geisser is 2-17-1 with a 4.83 goals against average and a .846 save percentage in her first year of varsity hockey.
