Woodbury Athlete of the Week: Tessa Halada

Woodbury’s Tessa Halada played a big role as the Royals gymnastics team won its first Suburban East Conference meet of the year last week.

Woodbury’s Tessa Halada played a big role as the Royals gymnastics team won its first Suburban East Conference meet of the year last week.

Halada, a freshman, finished in third place in the all-around competition as Woodbury beat Cretin-Derham Hall 125.725 to 125.225. Halada had her high score on the beam with a team-best 8.3. She also scored a team-high 8.25 in the floor exercise, had an 8.125 on the vault and scored a 7.375 on the beam.
