The East Ridge gymnastics team kept up its winning ways, defeating Suburban East Conference foe Forest Lake 136.3 to 127.075 to remain unbeaten at 7-0 in conference meets.
East Ridge senior Leah Robinette led the way for the Raptors in the win, taking first place in the all-around competition (36.675), first in the vault (9.55), first on the beam (9.05), and second on the bars (8.825) and in the floor exercise (9.25). East Ridge sophomore Kelly McKenzie also turned in a solid all-around performance, taking third place (34.625). McKenzie took first place in the floor exercise (9.45) and third place on the beam (8.55). Additionally, eighth grader Megan Trollen finished third in the vault (8.95) and third on the bars (7.775), and junior Jamila Joiner earned third in the floor exercise (8.6).
Next, East Ridge battles SEC foe Mounds View on Friday, Feb. 3.
