The commute through Woodbury was slowed this morning, thanks to a jack-knifed semi-trailer near Lake Road on 494.
Early reports of the crash – which occurred at 6:50 a.m. in northbound traffic – described possible injuries, though Minnesota State Patrol Lt. Eric Roeske confirmed no one was hurt in the crash. Emergency crews shut down the highway for a short time in response to the crash.
Roeske said the northbound exit ramp at Lake Road was still closed as of 8:20 a.m.
Roeske said some diesel fuel was spilled during the crash, which triggered a standard response from the state’s duty officer. Roeske said indications were that the spill was “not a significant leak.”
