Woodbury’s Greg Norsten already looks to be in state championship form.

Against Stillwater last week, Norsten, a senior for the Royals’ swimming and diving team, set the pool record, the school record and the Suburban East Conference record to take first place in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:43.59. Norsten, who won the event in over 13 seconds, also had a time of 52.40 seconds in the 100 fly, winning that race by more three seconds.

Last year, Norsten set school records in the 200-yard individual medley and the 100-yard butterfly and became the Royals first state swim champion since 1990.
