Voila: Top-hat wearing customer suspected in making $500 cell phone disappear during shell game with boxes
Employees at a Woodbury electronics retailer apparently got taken by a costly shell game earlier this month, police reported.
Employees at a Woodbury electronics retailer apparently got taken by a costly shell game earlier this month, police reported.
According to a police report, a man wearing a top hat entered Radio Shack on Dec. 5 and asked to look at several cell phones. An employee said the man started to play a shell game with the boxes and different cell phones, but decided not to buy anything and left.
Employees later discovered a $500 phone missing from an empty box that the man had been playing with.
