Woodbury boys basketball: Royals soar over Central in first game of 2011-12
Woodbury opened up an early lead and hung on to win 69-60 Tuesday in its first game of the 2011-12 season.

Woodbury opened up an early lead and hung on to win 69-60 Tuesday in its first game of the 2011-12 season.
The win over St. Paul Central was the first in as many games for the Royals, who at 1-0, face four nonconference opponents in their first five games. Woodbury plays Shakopee Saturday at home, squares off Dec. 13 on the road against Edina and plays host to Northfield on Monday, Dec. 19.
The Royals’ first game against Suburban East Conference competition comes Friday, Dec. 16, at home.
Details from Tuesday’s game against Central were not immediately available.
