Cashing in at the Coin Carnival

Even though the skies were a bit gray last Friday during the annual Coin Carnival at Ojibway Park, shining faces were seen everywhere.

Even though the skies were a bit gray last Friday during the annual Coin Carnival at Ojibway Park, shining faces were seen everywhere.

The Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department-sponsored carnival was held at Ojibway Park on Aug. 12 after being rescheduled, due to rain, earlier this summer.

Hundreds of people came out for the annual event.

The Coin Carnival is a fun family event where children can participate in a variety of “coin” games such as a ring toss, the duck pond, minnow races and several beanbag toss games.

Each game had small prizes for the kids.

Additionally, visitors also enjoyed some moon bounces, crazy hair and even the Puppet Wagon.
