Swimming & Diving: Area diving trio earns All-American honors

Woodbury’s Jenna Karrow, Emily Bonfig and Erin Kohlbeck were recently named 2010-11 NISCA/Speedo girls 1-meter diving All-Americans.

Woodbury’s Jenna Karrow, Emily Bonfig and Erin Kohlbeck were recently named 2010-11 NISCA/Speedo girls 1-meter diving All-Americans. Each year, the National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (NISCA) selects the top 100 divers in the nation to All-America honors. Karrow was the 2010 state diving champion in Class AA and will be a junior at East Ridge High School in the fall. Bonfig was the state runner-up for Class AA and will be a senior at Woodbury High school in the fall. Kohlbeck (4th place in state), a 2011 graduate of Woodbury High School, will be attending Boise State University in the fall on an athletic scholarship.
