Woodbury City Council to look into trunk sewer line
The Woodbury City Council approved a feasibility study for a trunk sewer line that would serve the city’s second generation of development.
The city has not yet acquired property to lay the pipe, but city engineer Klayton Eckles said, “Right now everything is looking very positive in that regard.”
A contract for the $3.6 million project – which involves about two miles of pipe – could be awarded this summer, with an estimated completion time set for summer 2012, Eckles said.
He said the city would pass on project costs to eventual property developers
