Seventh-ranked Cretin-Derham Hall was too much for the Woodbury boys basketball team on Tuesday, Jan. 11, as the Royals fell 64-44 to the Raiders in a Suburban East Conference game at Woodbury High School.
In the game, Cretin-Derham Hall (7-2; 3-1 SEC) built a 14-point halftime lead and extended it by outscoring Woodbury 27-21 in the second half for the 20-point win.
Junior forward Connor McKeen led the way for Woodbury (3-6; 2-2 SEC) in the loss with a game-high 17 points. Seniors Andrew Ayeni and Michael Poliano each chipped in eight points. Rajon Kelly led the Raiders with 17 points.
