Celebrating the history of Thanksgiving
Joan Hochman's third grade class celebrated Thanksgiving early today, Tuesday, with its annual Thanksgiving program.

The character of Sacagawea was portrayed by two students in Joan Hochman's class.
Joan Hochman's third grade class celebrated Thanksgiving early today, Tuesday, with its annual Thanksgiving program.
The program, "Lewis and Clark and the Bird Girl" tells the story of Sacagawea’s life and her travels with famous explorers Lewis and Clark. Native American customs and interactions with the United States government are highlighted in the play.
This is the 25th year that Hochman has had her students put on a Thanksgiving play.
