Honoring veterans

Valley Crossing Community School honored its veterans today, Nov. 11, at a Veterans Day Ceremony.

    Sgt. Jennifer Noel and Spc. Ryan Noel, of the U.S. Army, accompanied their children Jacob and Kayla Noel to the Valley Crossing Community School Veterans Day Celebration on Nov. 11.

Valley Crossing Community School honored its veterans today, Nov. 11, at a Veterans Day Ceremony. Around 50 or 60 students brought family members and friends who are veterans to the celebration. During the celebration, each veteran introduced themselves, their rank and where they served. In addition to introducing the veterans, Valley Crossing student also performed a variety of patriotic songs including "America the Beautiful" and "God Bless America."
