Civic Involvement: Involved with St. Croix Valley Athletic Association, serves as the city attorney for the cities of Lilydale, Mendota and Dakota and has served as a lobbyist for the American Legion.

Reasons for running for School Board: Lehmann said he decided to run for election to the District 834 School Board because of the effect the School Board has on his two children.

“I have a passion and a desire to work for the benefit of our children,” he said.

Platform: Lehmann said he is most concerned with improving communication between the school board and the community.

Additionally, Lehmann said he would like to hold regular meetings at all of the district’s schools as a way to keep families informed.

“I’m going to make sure my decisions support children,” he said.

Brings to School Board: Lehmann said his experiences as an attorney will bring a different perspective to the board.

“I understand the importance of listening, evaluating concerns of people and analyzing,” he said. “And hopefully coming up with a good solution.”
