Reasons for running for School Board: Hoeppner said he made the decision to run for re-election because of his experience in education and the School Board’s ability to work well together.
Hoeppner also said stability is important now that the School Board is working on some big issues.
Platform: Hoeppner said the issues facing the district that he is most concerned with are state funding for the district and how that impacts what the district can provide.
Hoeppner said he would look at ways to continue services through property tax levies.
“The question is how do you continue that quality programming that the community appreciates without stable state funding,” he said. “It becomes a matter of selling what you’re doing.”
