County Board candidates make their case

The two Washington County Board seats that include parts of Woodbury are up for grabs in the Nov. 2 election.
District 2 Commissioner Bill Pulkrabek of Oakdale is being challenged by Dean Johnston, the Lake Elmo mayor. District 2 includes Oakdale, Lake Elmo, Landfall and Woodbury Precincts 3, 12, 14, and 15.
The District 5 seat includes all other Woodbury precincts. Incumbent Commissioner Lisa Weik of Woodbury is being challenged by Woodbury businessman Kelly Monkman.
Commissioners earn $52,713 a year.
