Letter: Lohmer knows what’s best for families

Julie Bunn has been desperately trying to convince us, in these final days leading up to the election, that because she's the "legislature's only economist," it somehow merits her special consideration and atonement for her abysmal voting record during her four-year term in office.

As the so-called representative of our District 56A, Bunn has been raking us over the coals.

She's voted for every significant tax increase - whether it be gas, sales, property or income - that has come before the House for a vote. Even worse, she's authored, co-authored or sponsored the vast majority of that legislation herself.

I can't take that anymore, and come Nov. 2, I intend to make my statement about that known through my vote for Kathy Lohmer. This will not be a protest vote, but a vote for the people of Minnesota.

We need to put representatives in office that understand that we, not they, are the government and that we, not they, will decide what's best for us and our families.

Lohmer is the answer. She will get my vote.

Kathy Lohmer should be our new District 56A representative. Vote for Lohmer to get our independence back from government control.
