City offers MEA break activities for youth
The Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department is offering a variety of programs for the Oct. 21-22 break from school (due to MEA conferences).
The Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department is offering a variety of programs for the two-day break from school students will endure next week during the Oct. 21-22 Minnesota Education Association teachers conferences.
Skateboard Camp
Experienced instructors from 3rd Lair Skate Park will present instruction on balance, pushing, dropping in, skate park safety and etiquette. A great program for beginners to experts!

Mountain Bike Camp
Adventure outside and experience the brand new mountain bike single-track trails being built at Carver Lake, right here in Woodbury! This guided ride will provide youth with valuable knowledge about bicycle maintenance, safety, riding skills, trail building and trail etiquette.

Journey to the Stars
Instructors from Science Explorers will lead youth as they encounter the planets of the solar system, learn how gravity affects our bodies and conduct fun experiments. Participants will create a glowing space solution to take home as a souvenir.

Star Wars II Art Camp
Participants will learn how to draw R2D2 and Chewy, recreate the land Luke Skywalker came from, sculpt and design starships, create a treasure box, make light sabors, and more!
