Man killed in officer-involved shooting in Cottage Grove
A man was fatally shot by police during a traffic stop near Hadley Avenue and Belden Boulevard around 11 p.m. Wednesday night, according to the Cottage Grove Police Department.
A man was fatally shot by police during a traffic stop near Hadley Avenue and Belden Boulevard around 11 p.m. Wednesday night, according to the Cottage Grove Police Department.
Another man was transported to Regions Hospital.
The Washington County Special Response Team was involved in the shooting, according to a news release.
The officers involved will be put on paid administrative leave, and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating the incident, the news release says.
