Senior high school youth from King of Kings Lutheran Church will offer the Woodbury community a “Coffee House” from 7 to 9 p.m. May 22. The program will feature a variety of local performers. Admission is by free will offering. Any and all donations will be accepted.
The group hopes to surpass itsgoal of $2,000. Proceeds will help the senior high Youth Mission Team this summer as they head to Jamaica to work at Sunbeam Boys Home.
SBH struggles financially to provide the basic necessities for their boys. The Youth Mission Team will complete service projects, build relationships with the boys and lead evening devotions, hoping “that their team’s donations of materials and labor will make a significant impact on the lives of these boys.”
