I-494 shuffle under way

All traffic on Interstate 494 through the Woodbury corridor was rerouted to northbound side this week, marking the beginning of a four-month construction project.

All traffic on Interstate 494 through the Woodbury corridor was rerouted to northbound side this week, marking the beginning of a four-month construction project.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation shifted traffic so that crews can begin expanding lanes and pouring new concrete on the southbound side of the interstate.

Southbound entrance and exit ramps to Valley Creek and Lake roads are closed for several weeks. Staff photo by Scott Wente.
