St. John Lutheran Church invites the public to a presentation about the Dead Sea Scrolls by Dr. Edward Fleming at 9:15 a.m. Sunday, April 11. The event is free and prior registration is not necessary.
Fleming is the curator of archaeology for the Science Museum of Minnesota.
The Scrolls are “considered to be the greatest archaeological find of the 20th century – steeped in scientific, religious, and cultural significance.”
The church, at 1975 St. John’s Drive, is located at the corner of Valley Creek Road and St. Johns Drive, two blocks east of County Road 19.
