CITY OF WOODBURYNOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Emmaus Companies has submitted applications for a Planned Unit Development, Preliminary Plat, Conditional Use Permit and Final Site and Building Plan for an assisted living campus to be known as Prelude of Woodbury. The proposed development consists of a 30 unit memory care facility, 2 hospice homes, and 4 residential care homes. The subject site is located to the east of Woodbury Drive and north of Raleigh Road. The property is currently zoned R-4, Urban Residential District, and guided as Urban Residential on the Land Use Plan

The application includes the following described real estate lying and being in the City of Woodbury, County of Washington, State of Minnesota to wit:

That portion of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 23, Township 28, Range 21, Washington County, Minnesota described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of said Southwest Quarter, thence running East a distance of 338 feet to a point, thence running North to a point on the North line of the Northwest Quarter of said Southwest Quarter, a distant 394 feet East of the Northwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of said Southwest Quarter, thence running West 394 feet; thence running South along the West line of said Section 23, to the point of beginning, according to the United States Government Survey thereof.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Woodbury City Council has scheduled a public hearing to review the request for the application. The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. at Woodbury City Hall, 8301 Valley Creek Road.

The purpose of the hearing is to provide citizens the opportunity to comment on the proposed application. Individual citizens or representatives of organizations are encouraged to submit written comments prior to the hearing.

All interested parties will be heard.
