NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Woodbury City Council has scheduled a public hearing to review the draft 2010-2014 Consolidated Plan and 2010 CDBG and HOME Annual Action Plan. The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at Woodbury City Hall, 8301 Valley Creek Road.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Woodbury City Council has scheduled a public hearing to review the draft 2010-2014 Consolidated Plan and 2010 CDBG and HOME Annual Action Plan. The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at Woodbury City Hall, 8301 Valley Creek Road.
The Consolidated Plan will provide Woodbury with strategic guidance related to program policy and funding decisions for the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds for the next five years. The Annual Action Plan will outline strategies for the 2010 program year (July 1, 2010 - June 30, 2011). CDBG funds can be used for multiple community development needs including but not limited to economic development, housing, infrastructure, public facilities and public services. HOME funds must be used for housing activities. An electronic draft of the proposed plan may be accessed via www.ci.woodbury.mn.us/planning/consolidated.pdf.
The purpose of the hearing is to provide citizens the opportunity to comment on the proposed Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan. Individual citizens or representatives of organizations are encouraged to submit written comments prior to the hearing.
All interested parties will be heard.
