Library features cows and Seuss

The following story time events will be held at the R.H. Stafford Branch Library, 8595 Central Park Place, Woodbury, in the coming week.

– Library staff and volunteers from the Science Museum of Minnesota will offer a cow-themed story time featuring storytelling, book talks and science-related activities at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 9. Families with children of all ages are invited to attend.

– “Elephant Up A Tree” for children of preschool through kindergarten age and their caregivers will feature Dr. Seuss books Thursday, March 4 at 10:30 a.m. in celebration of the March 2 birthday of Theodor Seuss Geisel. Storyteller Leslye Orr will present “Horton Hatches the Egg” by Dr. Seuss.

– “Library Storytime & ECFE Activities” also for preschool through kindergarten age children and their caregivers, will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 8.

The event features stories presented by a librarian, followed by activities led by a guest from School District 833s Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE).
