Bids close at 2:00 p.m. on March 31, 2010.

Sealed bids for the 2010 South Washington County Public Schools - Classroom Audio/Visual Upgrades for South Washington County Public Schools will be received in accordance with the documents prepared by Northland Technology Consulting, LLC, until 2:00 p.m. on March 31, 2010 at the District Office, 7362 East Point Douglas Road, Cottage Grove, Minnesota 55016. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the time and place specified above. Bids received after 2:00 p.m. will be returned unopened.

A pre-bid conference will be held at the District Office, 7362 East Point Douglas Road, Cottage Grove, Minnesota 55016 on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 2:00pm.

Submit a single bid for all work for each Bid Division.

This project includes installation of new Intelligent Classroom Audio/Visual Systems (Bid Division #1), Projection Equipment (Bid Division #2), and Interactive Whiteboard Equipment (Bid Division #3) for installation in Sixty (60) classrooms throughout South Washington County Public School District.

Copies of the Drawings, Specifications and other Contract Documents are available after March 01, 2010.

Issuance of Contract Documents does not constitute acceptance or approval of any Contractor or product.

Contractors or suppliers who desire hard copy of individual plan sheets or specifications may purchase copies at the non-refundable cost of reproduction, handling and delivery.

The Proposal shall be made in duplicate on bidder's letterhead in exact accordance with the Proposal Form accompanying the specifications, and the signature shall be in longhand. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic proposals or modifications will be considered. Each successful bidder will NOT be required to furnish a performance and payment bond. Bidders submitting bids on multiple bid divisions must submit each bid division separate sealed envelopes.

Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, made payable to School District No. 833 as a guarantee that the bidder will, if awarded the bid, enter into a contract with the School District in accordance with their proposal and the plans and specifications. Bidders submitting bids on multiple bid divisions may submit one (1) bid bond for all bid divisions combined.

Envelopes containing bids must be sealed, marked on the lower left-hand corner "2010 South Washington County Public School - Classroom Audio/Visual Systems - Bid Division (#1 or #2 or #3) - Sealed Bid Enclosed" with the bid category, name and address of the bidder, the date and hour of the opening and addressed to:

South Washington County Schools, Independent School District No. 833, Minnesota reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or parts of such bids and waive any formalities or irregularities in bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of THIRTY (30) DAYS after bid opening without the consent of the School Board of Independent School District No. 833 of Minnesota.
