A 22-year-old Eagan woman was arrested for allegedly shooting her father during a domestic altercation Monday in Woodbury.
A 22-year-old Eagan woman was arrested for allegedly shooting her father during a domestic altercation Monday in Woodbury.
Woodbury police said this morning they arrested Amber A. Rabideau, 22, on suspicion of shooting 44-year-old James Rabideau of Woodbury twice, striking him in the abdomen and right hip.
James Rabideau was transported to Regions Hospital, where he remained this morning, police said.
Amber Rabideau was initially taken to Woodwinds Hospital with a non-life-threatening head injury. She was evaluated, released and interviewed by police. She is being held at the Washington County Jail pending further investigation, police said.
There was a third adult and two children in the home at the time of the shooting. None of them witnessed the shooting, authorities said. The incident is still being investigated.
Police responded at 9:58 a.m. Monday to a report that someone was shot in the house at 2200 Kings Drive. That is in the Royal Oaks neighborhood, south of Valley Creek Road and east of Queens Drive.
Woodbury Police Chief Lee Vague said there were no previous problems reported at the house.
