NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Settler's Pointe, LLC has submitted applications for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment, Amended Planned Unit Development, Amended Conditional Use Permit, and Final Site and Building Plan for an assisted living and memory care project to be known as Settler's Pointe. The proposed development would convert one existing and one planned commercial building to 42 assisted living/memory care units. The subject site is located north of Halsted Trail, south of Eagle View Boulevard and west of Cottage Grove Drive. The property is currently zoned R-4, Urban Residential District, and guided as Places to Shop on the Land Use Plan.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Woodbury City Council has scheduled a public hearing to review the request for the application. The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. at Woodbury City Hall, 8301 Valley Creek Road.
The purpose of the hearing is to provide citizens the opportunity to comment on the proposed application. Individual citizens or representatives of organizations are encouraged to submit written comments prior to the hearing.
All interested parties will be heard.
