The Guardian Angels Church Women’s Club will host an “Afternoon of Reflection” from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20 in Peter O'Neill Hall at the church, 8260 Fourth Street N., Oakdale. The event is open to women in the general public. The cost is $15.
The mini-retreat will begin with lunch and features “a program of prayer, music, laughter, meditation and discussion” led by speaker Jane Leyden Cavanaugh presenting “Winter Nights and Hearts: Learning to Wait Gracefully.”
Reservation and prepayment is required and may be made at the church after Saturday and Sunday masses Feb. 13 and 14, or by calling Eileen Mildenberger at (651) 738-1332 before Monday, Feb. 15. No reservations will be taken at the door.
