Royals gymnasts win at Hastings
Woodbury tops Hastings, 134.525-131.725, as Gubbels and Kohlbeck tie for first in all-around.
Vanessa Gubbels and Erin Kohlbeck tied for first in the all-around competition as the Woodbury gymnastics team defeated Hastings, 134.525-131.725, on Wednesday night at the Hastings Gymnastics Center.
Gubbels placed first in the floor exercise, with Kohlbeck winning the vault and balance beam competitions. Kendra Guck completed the WHS sweep with a first-place result on the uneven bars.
Next up, the Royals are scheduled to take part in the Minnetonka Invitational on Saturday morning and host defending State champion Roseville next Thursday.
