Woodbury/Peaceful Grove United Methodist Church will be creating and collecting health kits for the people of Haiti during the month of February and is asking the community to participate.
The items in the kit will provide basic health and hygiene items to those who have been forced out of their homes by the recent devastating earthquake. The kits are easy to assemble and each kit costs approximately $12.
Instructions for assembling the kits may be found at www.wumc-pgumc.org under “Service” and are also available at the church. The kits may be dropped off at the church’s Woodbury campus, 7465 Steepleview Road. They will deliver the kits to a collection facility to be packed for shipping to Haiti. They will be distributed by the United Methodist Committee on Relief.
Questions may be directed to the church office at (651) 738-0305.
