Afton approves open burning ordinance
The Afton City Council approved a new open burning ordinance at its Jan. 19 meeting.
The Afton City Council approved a new open burning ordinance at its Jan. 19 meeting.
Even though the city currently has an open burning ordinance in place, the Lower St. Croix Valley Fire District requested that all member cities adopt the ordinance in order to provide consistent language.
The City Council directed staff to locate where the ordinance should be inserted and to come back to them if there is any repeats with their current ordinance
