Activity and fitness center memberships availableHigh school facilities open to members
School District 833 Community Education hosts open gym and track in the Activity Centers at all three district high schools – East Ridge, Park and Woodbury – and an open fitness area at East Ridge. Individual and family memberships are available for purchase for the 4-month period ending May 2.
– The Recreation Membership allows access to the gym and track at the East Ridge, Park and Woodbury activity centers in the evenings, Monday through Friday, and afternoons on weekends. The East Ridge gym and track also has weekday morning availability. Activities offered include use of the walking/running track, basketball, volleyball, badminton, baseball/softball, and Family Nights where the whole family can participate in gym games and activities including basketball, football, floor hockey, whiffle ball, dodgeball, soccer, hula hoops, jump ropes, potato jumper, sacks, parachutes, ping pong, and more. Family nights are designed for families with children grades 6 and under.
– The Fitness Membership allows users all of the benefits of the Recreation Membership and additionally, use of the fitness center at East Ridge High School which includes the weight room with weight benches, hammer strength machines, free weights, and the fitness area with elipticals, bikes, and treadmills. The fitness center has morning and evening weekday hours, and afternoon hours on the weekend.
