The alleged incident was reported around 10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 26 outside the theater at 1470 Queens Drive.
A juvenile male called police after he said a suspect took his cell phone and ran off with it. The juvenile complainant said he chased the suspect toward an apartment complex on Guider Drive. The complainant continued to chase the suspect around the corner at 7225 Guider Dr. a police report stated. But as the complainant rounded the corner, the suspect displayed a hand gun and pointed it at the complainant The complainant backed away and left the area before reporting the incident to police.
Patrol officers along with a K9 and State Patrol helicopter searched the area but did not locate the suspect, who was described as dark skin male wearing a green jacket with a fur hood, a black hat and green Nike sneakers.
The Bulletin could not reach officials at the Woodbury Theatre for comment before deadline.
The Woodbury Theatre was closed for remodeling this week and was scheduled to reopen Friday, Dec. 11.
