Woodbury, East Ridge gymnasts begin seasons

The Woodbury and East Ridge gymnastics teams began their 2009-10 campaigns on Thursday night against nearby Suburban East Conference competition.
The Royals traveled to take on intradistrict rival Park in Cottage Grove, topping the Wolfpack 135.675-134.125 as Jenna Kilgore won the all-around competition with a score of 35.0.
The Raptors fell by just three-tenths of a point in their inaugural meet, falling 132.8-132.5 to Stillwater at ERHS as Leah Robinette took first place in the all-around (36.0) and vault while Kelly McKenzie placed first on the floor exercise.
